Mayvin seeks a Project Manager supporting the Federal Protective Services in the DMV area.
This position is pending contract award.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)
Responsibilities:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical and cost data
  • Ability to read and interpret management policy, regulations, and directives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 or higher to include Access, Excel, & Project.
  • Ability to work effectively with a group or independently
  • Advanced organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively manage several projects simultaneously
  • Responsible for the quality of deliverables provided and performance of contract personnel
  • Prepare and assist in development of policy documents
  • Oversee the preparation, editing, and assembling of reports required for meetings and presentations
  • Work effectively with other branches and divisions within the organization to accomplish tasks
  • Assist, as needed, with special projects
  • Obtain necessary information from appropriate source(s) to complete assigned tasks and share information with others as needed
  • Manage the development, revision, innovation, and preparation of training materials
  • Reports to and work with the FPS Project Management Division (PMD) staff to plan, control, and monitor all relevant program objectives, activities, and initiatives
  • Manage and direct the assigned project resources to best meet project objectives
  • Work with team members and FPS employees to ensure that all deliverables are distributed in a timely manner and ensure that all issues are addressed
  • Develop and edit regularly scheduled status reports, as requested
  • Complete other ad hoc assignments, as determined
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project
  • Ability to effectively manage several complex projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Prepare and assist in development of policy documents, white papers
  • Prepare, edit, and assemble reports required for meetings and presentations
  • Oversee the development and editing of regularly scheduled status reports, as requested by the Government Task Manager

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in project or program management, or related work with a minimum of 10 years in management
  • Minimum of 8 years of the 15 years in conducting analytical and support activities
  • Master's Degree
