Project Engineer – Airports | Design and deliver civil engineering airport infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons, terminal expansions, and site development from concept through construction.

THE ROLE
As a Civil Project Engineer (Airports), you will design and deliver essential civil engineering airport infrastructure for landside and airside projects such as taxiways, runways, terminal expansions, and site development, while building toward technical leadership and project ownership. You will support projects from concept through construction in a collaborative, employee-owned environment. These responsibilities include: These responsibilities include:
  • Execute assigned project tasks and phases and deliver defined technical work products within assigned scopes
  • Support the Engineer of Record in preparing design packages and technical documentation
  • Provide construction administration support during the construction phase of projects
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to support project delivery and execution
  • Support and guide junior engineers and design staff on design, drafting, and modeling standards
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, memorandums, and cost estimates
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable FAA regulatory requirements, codes, and permitting standards
  • Support Project Managers in identifying and pursuing client and business development opportunities
  • Progress toward Engineer of Record responsibilities with experience and licensure

YOUR STRENGTHS
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or equivalent ABET-accredited engineering program
  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant civil engineering design experience within airport related project work
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) professional designation required
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or on track to obtain PE
  • Experience coordinating design tasks and contributing to project phases within a team environment
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record for project-related travel
