Sun up, hard hat on—you walk the project with your crew leads, verify yesterday’s progress, and set priorities for the day. Before lunch, you’re running load calculations for a tenant improvement, reviewing engineered drawings, and finalizing a plan set bound for the building department. By afternoon, you’re coordinating with project managers, answering RFIs, and mentoring a rising journeyman on code interpretation. You close the day with a quality and safety sweep, leaving the site buttoned up and ready for tomorrow.

What You Will Own
  • Leadership of commercial and field electrical projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.
  • Electrical engineering assessments, load calculations, and system design development for diverse commercial scopes.
  • Preparation, review, and submission of electrical drawings and documents for permit approval with the building department.
  • Cross-functional coordination with project managers, electricians, and trade partners to execute installations seamlessly.
  • Regular site visits to track progress, troubleshoot, and uphold safety and quality benchmarks.
  • Hands-on technical guidance and mentorship for field teams.
  • Continuous monitoring of changes to national and local electrical codes and best practices.
