Job description

At MPE we are dedicated to making a difference in the world through cutting-edge medical technology. Our mission is to be the global leader in design, engineering, and manufacturing solutions for the medical and technology industries. We are committed to creating impactful solutions that improve lives and fostering an environment where our team members can thrive, grow and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in the medical field.

A better career for you. Creating medical technology for all.

Why This Role

We're looking for a dedicated Project Manager to own projects from concept through design or transfer, all the way to product launch. You'll be the person holding the full picture together — schedules, budgets, risk, and customer relationships — while working directly with MPE leadership and customers to keep critical medical technology programs on track.

This is a high-visibility role: you'll be the main point of contact between our internal teams and our customers, and you'll regularly present project status and risk directly to leadership. If you want a PM role where your work is directly tied to products that improve people's lives, this is it.

What You'll Do

Own the Project Lifecycle

  • Manage projects end-to-end — initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close
  • Build project schedules, assemble project teams, and assign responsibilities to keep timelines on track
  • Manage cost and budget activities, identifying the resources needed for on-time completion

Manage Risk & Drive Solutions

  • Assess project risks and issues, and proactively bring forward solutions
  • Determine and manage project changes to keep deadlines on track
  • Ensure projects follow MPE processes and frameworks, with documentation maintained appropriately throughout

Lead Communication & Visibility

  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and customers
  • Present project status and critical risks clearly and concisely to MPE leadership

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all safety and work rules and regulations
What You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience in new product development within medical device technology
  • Experience with manufacturing and/or assembly projects
  • Competency in Microsoft applications and project scheduling tools (Gantt software, Smartsheet)

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of FDA and ISO regulations
Why Work With MPE?
  • Medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance starting the first of the month after your hire date
  • 401(k) match and profit sharing
  • Vacation time from day one
  • 9 paid holidays for regular full-time employees
  • Paid training
