Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager responsible for managing large-scale commercial electrical projects from inception to completion. You will work with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your electrical expertise in a project management role, while contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
  2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to design and implement electrical systems.
  3. Supervise and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
  4. Review and approve electrical designs, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  5. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and equipment.
  6. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
  7. Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  8. Resolve project issues and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  9. Maintain a safe and clean job site by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  10. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the electrical construction industry.
Qualifications:
  1. Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent is required.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the commercial electrical construction industry.
  3. Proven experience as a licensed journeyman working with union electrical contractors.
  4. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
  5. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  6. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  7. Proficient in using project management software and tools.
  8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
