We are looking for a Procurement Alliance Manager to join our Indirect Procurement organization within the Corporate Pooling Indirect Material Supply Chain Management team.
In this role you would work a hybrid work model out of the Alpharetta, GA office.
This role sits at the intersection of strategic sourcing, alliance governance, and project leadership. You will maximize the value Siemens derives from its procurement alliances by leading joint sourcing initiatives, coordinating governance activities, and driving innovation and best-practice exchanges across member organizations.
You will work closely with alliance members, procurement professionals, business stakeholders, and senior leaders across North and South America, Europe, and Asia, influencing across organizational boundaries to deliver measurable business value through collaboration and sourcing excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Alliance Governance & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage relationships with alliance member companies, coordinating governance activities including executive reviews, KPI reporting, action tracking, and escalation management
  • Facilitate alliance meetings, supplier forums, and best-practice exchanges to drive collaboration and innovation across members
  • Ensure all alliance activities comply with antitrust requirements, governance standards, and approved information-sharing protocols
  • Monitor industry trends and market developments to support alliance strategy

Strategic Sourcing & Joint Tenders
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing events, from requirements gathering and RFP development through supplier evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendation
  • Develop and maintain standardized sourcing templates, evaluation models, and best practices shared across alliance members
  • Support eSourcing and eAuction initiatives, ensuring proper tracking and reporting of outcomes in Siemens procurement systems
  • Ensure all sourcing activities align with Siemens procurement policies and category strategies

Project & Program Leadership
  • Lead strategic alliance initiatives from planning through execution, managing project plans, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications
  • Drive cross-functional accountability to deliver agreed objectives on time and within scope
  • Prepare and present executive-level updates on project status, alliance performance, and sourcing pipeline

Data Analytics & Digital Innovation
  • Build and maintain advanced Excel models, including pivot tables, Power Query, dashboards, and financial/TCO modeling, to support sourcing decisions and performance tracking
  • Apply AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot and generative AI solutions to improve sourcing efficiency, market intelligence, and reporting quality
  • Continuously identify opportunities to automate and improve alliance and procurement workflows

Contracting & Negotiation
  • Lead or support commercial negotiations covering pricing, service levels, and contractual terms
  • Coordinate contract development and maintenance in partnership with Legal and Procurement teams, ensuring full compliance with Siemens governance and risk standards

Within your first year, you will have:
  • Established effective governance processes with alliance member companies.
  • Successfully led complex joint sourcing initiatives across multiple participating organizations.
  • Built repeatable sourcing frameworks, templates, and analytical tools that improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Delivered measurable value through cost savings, process improvements, risk reduction, and supplier innovation.
  • Earned a reputation as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and alliance partners.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management, or Alliance Management.
  • 5+ years leading end-to-end RFP processes and sourcing projects.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, Power Query, pivot tables, and dashboard creation.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI-enabled tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, or similar tools, to improve business processes.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with structure and discipline.
  • Knowledge of TCO analysis, market assessment methodologies, and eSourcing/eAuction platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority across multicultural, matrixed environments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in purchasing alliances, consortium sourcing, or multi-company collaboration models.
  • Familiarity with Siemens procurement tools, OneSRM, Fieldglass, SAP, Keelvar, or similar platforms.
  • Background in indirect procurement categories such as IT, Telecommunications, Logistics, Fleet, or Professional Services.
  • German and/or Spanish language skills.
  • PMP, CAPM, CPSM, or equivalent professional certification.

The pay range for this position is $74,970 - $128,520 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
