Job description

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Analytical Operations Associate to support analytical testing in a laboratory environment. This role involves executing established test methods, documenting results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate high-quality data in support of research and development activities.
  • South San Francisco, CA
  • Pay: $40-45/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine analytical testing following established protocols.
  • Conduct immunoassays and/or cell culture techniques to support laboratory operations.
  • Document experimental data accurately in electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN).
  • Review, analyze, and summarize data while maintaining data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot assays and support method improvements as needed.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and organization.
  • Follow laboratory safety, quality, and documentation procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support testing priorities and project timelines.
  • Assist with general laboratory operations and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent laboratory experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on analytical laboratory experience.
  • Experience with immunoassays (e.g., bead- or antibody-based assays) and/or cell culture techniques.
  • Experience using electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN); Benchling experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and documentation practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
