Shop/Fleet Operations Assistant

We're looking for a motivated and hard-working Shop/Fleet Operations Assistant to support our team during a busy season of fleet transitions and equipment swaps. This is a great opportunity for a student or entry-level worker who wants to gain hands-on experience, show initiative, and be part of a hardworking team. If you're someone who takes pride in your work, stays active, and is ready to jump in where needed, we want to hear from you.

At the Crimson Group, we provide our clients with high-value automation, instrumentation, electrical design, and process operation solutions. With the capabilities of a large enterprise, and the agility and responsiveness of a small company, we are a customer-focused provider of automation and integrated solutions. Crimson Group provides total integration of design, project management, panel manufacturing, installation/commissioning, maintenance, and repair for North America and select international markets.

What you will be Doing:

  • Assist with fleet transitions as new trucks arrive or expired trucks are released.
  • Help swap upfits and support general fleet maintenance tasks.
  • Keep the shop organized, clean, and running efficiently.
  • Pitch in with other hands-on tasks as needed.
  • Support Fleet and Asset Manager and the shop team in daily operations.


Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • A positive attitude and willingness to work hard.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
  • A self-starter who takes the initiative and stays busy.
  • Previous experience in hands-on, physical work is a bonus.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a position based in our Midland office.
  • Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:30pm.
  • 30-40 hours per week to start.
