Position Summary:

The Operations Assistant supports clinical trial kitting activities for Sonic Clinical Trials, ensuring the accurate assembly, quality control, and timely distribution of study materials in accordance with protocols and SOPs. This role partners with Project Management and Client Support Services teams to support efficient study execution.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, assemble, and quality check clinical trial kits in accordance with study protocols and SOPs
  • Print and process supply orders, labels, and study materials, including investigator laboratory manuals
  • Package shipments and coordinate distribution to clinical trial sites
  • Monitor kitting materials and perform routine stock checks, ensuring inventory systems are updated accurately
  • Maintain organized documentation, including filing and archiving in line with SOPs and regulatory standards
  • Support general operations by maintaining clean and organized work areas, executing resupply orders, and assisting with team training as needed

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in operations, warehouse, or production support is beneficial but not required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Solid organizational skills with strong attention to detail
    • Competent computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to follow instructions accurately and learn quickly
    • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
    • Ability to operate independently once trained

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as assembling kits and packing materials
    • Capability to stand, move, and lift materials up to 50lbs within a production or warehouse environment
