Deric is currently looking for a Project Administrative Assistant to join its growing electrical construction team in Florida.
At Deric, we are a multidisciplinary contractor delivering large-scale projects with a real and lasting impact. Our expertise includes civil works, process mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control, industrial maintenance, and automation, with a strong specialization in water and wastewater infrastructure.
As part of our expansion in the United States, we are looking for a motivated, organized, and reliable individual who is ready to learn and grow within a fast-paced project environment.
This position is based out of Deerfield Beach and offers a hybrid schedule (2 days in office / 3 days remote).
What your day-to-day will look like
Under the supervision of the VP / Project Manager, the Project Administrative Assistant will primarily be responsible for:
  • Submitting permit applications and ensuring proper follow-up
  • Tracking jobsite personnel documentation and background checkrequirements
  • Maintaining up-to-date contact lists (project managers, foremen,stakeholders)
  • Managing technical documentation(RFIs, submittals, drawings, revisions, technical changes)
  • Following up on equipment and material rentals
  • Preparing purchase orders and letters of intent
  • Processing daily reports from superintendents/foremen (deliveryslips, work orders, filing, and distribution)
  • Sending invoices to clients
  • Opening and maintaining project files in internal systems
  • Assisting project managers during project startup
  • Supporting project managerswith:
    • Preparation, submission, and follow-up of administrative andtechnical documents
    • Document control and filing
    • Invoice validation
    • General coordination tasks
  • Preparing bid submissiondocuments
  • Submitting bids on variousplatforms
  • Following up with General Contractors regarding bid results
  • Issuing purchase orders tosuppliers
  • Performing other related tasks required to support the project team
