Environmental Services Company seeks PROJECT MANAGER


Job Summary: Responsible for the technical specification, cost, schedule, scope and take off, quantity estimates and buyouts of large environmental construction projects.


Responsibilities:


Develops full knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the contract specifications, terms and conditions.


Develops project take-off


Secures best pricing and contract terms of all outside purchase needs. Approves all subcontractor/rental requests.


Identifies and documents bid Assumptions/Qualifiers


Develops, coordinates and implements a project plan, maintains daily coordination of project activities with assigned field Foreman or Supervisor. Establishes and tracks project milestones.


Maintains ongoing communication with customer and VP of Operations to communicate project status, changes in conditions or other key points of information. Distributes weekly progress report. Ensures that all proper documentation regarding project status and changes are submitted and approved.


Prepares and submits all contract deliverables.


Coordinates customer invoicing in accordance with contract documents. Proactively tracks payment.


Provides post project report to include scope, profitability, related issues.


Personally manages 5 large target accounts


Minimum Job Specifications


Bachelor's degree or equivalent


5 years of field or project management related experience in Environmental Services


Very strong organizational, planning decision making, communication, financial management and relationship management skills


Proficient in using various software tools including spreadsheet and project management software.


Proficient at reading blue prints
