Title: Project Manager

Primary Function: Provides overall project management duties to one or more construction projects and serves as the primary office contact regarding those projects, with responsibility for all aspects of construction from pre-construction through post-construction.

Typical Duties:

  • Work closely with Project Superintendent or other jobsite supervisor.
  • Communicate with the Owner, Architect/Engineer, Contractors, and Suppliers.
  • Develop and manage project progress schedule.
  • Monitor and control job costs.
  • Coordinate the work of Contractors with expedited material deliveries.
  • Preparate trade contracts, subcontracts and purchase order agreements.
  • Check and process shop drawings and product data submittals.
  • Administers change management system including determining any cost and schedule impact related to changes in the work.
  • Implement the quality assurance program and sustainable construction procedures.
  • Implement and enforce Miller-Davis Company’s Safety Program and safety regulations.
  • Complete projects within time, cost and quality requirements.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • College Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related curricula.
  • Prior construction experience including at least three years as a Project Manager.
  • Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Certifications preferred: LEED Accredited Professional or LEED Green Associate, OSHA 10
  • Problem solving and leadership skills.
