Job Description

With general guidance and coaching, responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology.  Typically manages oneor more projects of moderate size and risk or multiple small projects concurrently.  Develops detailed plans and schedules, including goals, risks, and resource allocation.  Monitors project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule.  Adheres to Pharmacy Program and health insurance company project management policies, procedures, and methodologies. Develops and/or reviews estimates and estimating assumptions. Schedule and attend project meetings, host conference calls, document meeting minutes and action items. Develop project critical path(s). Assist project business lead(s)with monitoring the delivery of business outcomes for multiple projects. Conducts lessons learned. Post all project related document to Pharmacy Program SharePoint. Knowledgeable of the Project Management Institute's standards and terminology.  Oversees client/customer relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met.  Significant creativity is required.  A high proficiency level in specific job related skills related to project management is required.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years related experience preferred.  Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

- Project management background and project management skill required.

- CAPM or PMP certification desired

- Adheres to Project Management Institue policies, procedures and methodologies

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include SharePoint, Visio and MicroSoft Projet 2003

- Kowledge of business process improvements

- Recommend and assist with the development of technical solutions that support and/or enhance     

   business processes

- Creativitiy is expected

- Promotes partnerships with various departments across the enterprise
