A Mechanical Engineer โ€“ Designs, develops, and improves mechanical systems and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance, efficiency, and reliability. In a manufacturing environment, they collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to solve technical issues, optimize equipment, and ensure products meet engineering and safety standards.

Job Duties

:

Create and refine mechanical components and processes using CAD software.

Develop prototypes and oversee testing to validate design functionality and performance.

Ensure components meet customer specifications.

:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to support project objectives.

Communicate technical findings and project updates to stakeholders.

Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

:

Assist in the transition of components to production.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production challenges.

Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

:

Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including technical drawings, processes, and specifications.

Ensure compliance with Randโ€™s AS9100 Quality Management System

Bachelorโ€™s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Experience in Defense related Manufacturing is a plus.

Experience with CNC machining is a plus.

Prior Management Experience is a plus.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).

Strong analytical skills.

Knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
