Job description

Our team at SmartEquip is looking for a Project Manager to work hybrid in our Norwalk Office. 

As a Project Manager you will play a key role in overseeing the successful delivery and implementation of web-based B2B application software projects. You will work closely with our development team, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and budgets, as well as communicating project status and updates both internally as well as to the project stakeholders.


Additionally, you will work closely with sales and our customers to define and prepare project plans and estimates, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations. Additionally, this involves managing client relationships, acting as a liaison between various business units and customers, and ensuring the seamless and timely delivery of software products and updates by collaborating closely with the production staff and software development team.

  • 3 years of experience managing complex enterprise software product solutions.

  • Knowledge of EDI PO and EDI Invoice processes.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of software development projects, from project initiation to closure.
  • Work closely with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Allocate resources and manage project teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Lead project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status meetings, and project reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management, to ensure project success.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographical location, etc. This role also qualifies for up to 5% of their annual salary in an incentive performance bonus.
