This contract opportunity is ideal for a professional who thrives in complex environments, enjoys partnering with senior leaders, and can independently drive initiatives from planning through execution.

This is not an administrative project coordinator role. The ideal candidate will bring structure to complex work, create executive-ready deliverables, manage stakeholders effectively, and proactively move projects forward with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and facilitate meetings to drive accountability and follow-through.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks while recommending practical solutions.
  • Create executive-level presentations, reports, communications, and meeting materials.
  • Support leadership discussions by synthesizing information, documenting decisions, and tracking action items.
  • Implement governance processes, reporting tools, and work management practices that enhance visibility and accountability.
  • Independently manage assigned projects and deliverables from initiation through completion.
  • Drive execution across multiple priorities while maintaining alignment with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading or supporting complex cross-functional projects, strategic initiatives, or operational improvement efforts.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to turn ambiguous objectives into actionable plans.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and presentation development skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, transformation, strategy, or change management.
  • Experience within the energy industry or another complex operational environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, including work plans, RAID logs, stakeholder mapping, and decision logs.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar certification is a plus but not required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is strategic, self-directed, polished in interactions with leadership, and willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure successful execution. They create clarity from ambiguity, hold stakeholders accountable, anticipate challenges, and consistently deliver high-quality results.

Position Details
