Project Manager


HVAC/Mechanical Construction


Salary: $85,000 – $125,000

A well-established mechanical construction contractor is seeking a Project Manager II to support HVAC and mechanical construction projects from planning through completion. This role will oversee project schedules, budgets, safety, procurement, documentation, and client coordination to ensure successful project execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage HVAC/mechanical construction projects through all phases
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and change orders
  • Support site safety compliance and quality control initiatives
  • Develop work plans, track schedules, and coordinate labor resources
  • Oversee procurement, equipment tracking, and vendor coordination
  • Monitor project costs, billings, labor productivity, and financial reporting
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, contractors, and key stakeholders
  • Support business development and future project opportunities


Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field required (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management and the building industry
  • Strong understanding of mechanical/HVAC systems and construction documentation
  • Experience with estimating software, CAD, and project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, SharePoint)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project/labor management systems
  • PMP, OSHA 30, or LEED credentials are beneficial
