About the Job:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall execution, performance, and success of assigned projects from kickoff through closeout. This role executes, manages, and directs all facets of construction management, including procurement, scheduling, financial performance, and team coordination.


The PM serves as the primary point of contact for internal teams, general contractors, vendors, and designers. Ensuring alignment on project scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. This individual takes ownership of project outcomes, proactively identifying risks, solving problems, and driving projects forward.


The Project Manager will regularly spend time in the office, fabrication shop, and on active job sites, supporting installation progress, leading coordination efforts, and resolving field issues. Success in this role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to operate seamlessly across all phases of construction.


Responsibilities:

Includes, but not limited to:

  • Own and manage all aspects of project execution from preconstruction through closeout
  • Review project proposals and contract documents to determine scope, schedule, staffing, and resource requirements
  • Develop and maintain project schedules; adjust plans as needed to ensure successful delivery
  • Lead project planning, coordination meetings, and communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Oversee and manage all project documentation including drawings, submittals, RFIs, and correspondence
  • Review and approve submittals to ensure compliance with contract documents
  • Lead the RFI process, including creation, tracking, and communication of impacts
  • Procure and manage all project buyouts, including vendor selection, subcontract issuance, and purchase orders
  • Ensure subcontracts and purchase orders are properly executed and aligned with project scope
  • Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships to ensure commitments, timelines, and deliverables are met
  • Verify insurance compliance and subcontractor documentation
  • Oversee fabrication releases, including verification of material orders and production readiness
  • Monitor fabrication and assembly progress; participate in weekly manufacturing meetings
  • Coordinate logistics and oversee deliveries to ensure accuracy and alignment with project schedules
  • Visit job sites regularly to verify progress, support installation, and resolve field issues
  • Lead and direct the work of project personnel, including Project Engineers and field teams
  • Establish work plans, assign responsibilities, and provide ongoing direction to project teams
  • Mentor and develop Project Engineers, interns, and other junior team members
  • Prepare and present project status reports for management and clients
  • Own project financial performance, including budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and P&L management
  • Partner with Project Accounting to support contract billings and required documentation
  • Manage and track labor productivity in collaboration with field leadership on a weekly basis
  • Identify risks proactively and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget

The ideal candidate has experience managing commercial construction projects and a solid understanding of façade systems, particularly unitized curtain wall. They bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and are comfortable balancing technical, operational, and financial responsibilities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field preferred; relevant experience will be strongly considered in lieu of a degree
  • 3–5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably within façade, glazing, or commercial construction
  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, including financial oversight (P&L)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and coordinating project stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical, timely solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with Bluebeam required or strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor, Revit, and AutoCAD is a plus
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
