Job description

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Project Manager to manage our Data Centers projects. The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and navigate the challenges of project management in a fast-paced environment. They will also be instrumental in identifying project risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and promoting a culture of safety and quality in all aspects of project execution. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is passionate about project management and committed to achieving excellence in all project deliverables while developing strong teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and guiding the Project Team to achieve successful project completion by collaborating with TEi, its vendors, and its subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Compiling and presenting an accurate monthly budget reconciliation to the executive management team.
  • Ensuring the organization remains aligned with the established baseline schedule.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact on project objectives.
  • Delivering regular updates on progress and project status to TEi stakeholders as well as the client.
  • Acting as the principal liaison between TEi and the customer.
  • Overseeing the change order process to verify alterations in scope and enhance revenue generation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • 5 + years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining schedules in MS Project or Primavera.
  • Industry experience with focus on Feedwater Heaters, Condensers, Fired heaters, OTSG, and Waste Heat Boilers preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Industry experience with focus on Data Centers is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information to various audiences.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and knowledge of Primavera Scheduling.
