Job description

American Concrete Products is a leading manufacturer of quality concrete products for various industries. This Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who is passionate about the construction industry and has a strong background in project management.

Job Duties Include:

  • Master the fundamentals of Sales Order entry in E3 ERP, part creation, requisitions, and part maintenance.
  • Create Purchase Orders (P.O.) and timely issuance of P.O.'s to vendors to avoid delaying contractual schedule deadlines.
  • Track and Manage vendor due dates for all sub-components and assemblies. Retrieve and file BOL & POD information.
  • Executes daily production entry reports, receiving and issuing raw materials, inventory management and cycle counting.
  • Create and submit timely Customer Invoices, reconcile all external billings, and project financials to avoid over/under billing.
  • Create delivery tickets, print product labels & stickers, organize delivery paperwork by truck #, sequence for drivers.
  • Distribute timely communication to Customers regarding Schedules, delivery production, and answering other requests.
  • Coordinates release work with Project Manager and Production to execute Production scheduling and fulfillment activities.
  • Answer and return Customer phone calls in a timely manner and handle issues with team swiftly and professionally.
  • Assist with scheduling deliveries, informing trucking companies of changes, communicating schedules externally to customers.
  • Authors and distributes Customer-facing planning documents in accordance with production scheduling guidelines.
  • Assist Project Manager with other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical/critical thinking skills
  • Manufacturing, engineering, mechanical and/or electrical control experience a major plus.
  • Associates or 4-year undergraduate degree. Engineering degree (Mechanical or Civil) with a P.E. a plus, but not required.
  • Strong computer experience and knowledge in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Sharepoint.
  • Job requires limited travel to jobsites in other states as part of job training.
