The Impact You Will Make
The Senior Project Manager provides leadership for complex, cross-functional, and high-impact initiatives that support Kindeva's strategic objectives. This role partners across Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other functional teams to successfully deliver projects that improve capacity, cost, service, compliance, and overall business performance.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy and judgment, the Senior Project Manager proactively identifies risks, anticipates challenges, and develops solutions before issues impact project delivery. In addition to leading critical business initiatives, this role helps strengthen Project Management Office (PMO) standards, improve cross-functional collaboration, and elevate project management capabilities across the organization.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership
  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and successful delivery of measurable outcomes, including cost, capacity, service, quality, and compliance.
  • Partner with business leaders early in project development to define scope, assumptions, timelines, resource requirements, and execution strategies that increase the likelihood of project success.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, executive dashboards, and project status reports that provide clear visibility into project health, risks, and resource requirements.
  • Anticipate project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks while developing proactive mitigation strategies before execution begins.
  • Facilitate executive decision-making by clearly communicating project status, risks, alternatives, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Build strong partnerships across Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business functions to ensure coordinated execution of project objectives.
  • Create clarity in complex or ambiguous situations by structuring problems, aligning stakeholders, and establishing practical paths forward.
  • Proactively remove barriers to execution through effective coordination, ownership, issue resolution, and escalation management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships through clear, concise, and decision-focused communication with project teams, leadership, and stakeholders.

Project Management Office (PMO) Leadership
  • Establish, promote, and reinforce Project Management Office (PMO) standards, governance, tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Coach and mentor Project Managers to strengthen project management capabilities, consistency, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery processes, reporting, governance, and overall PMO maturity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational execution, project visibility, resource planning, and delivery confidence across the business.

Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure projects are executed in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), where applicable.
  • Support a culture of quality, accountability, and operational excellence throughout project execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Eight (8) or more years of progressive project management experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Strong leadership, influence, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools, scheduling software, portfolio reporting, and project governance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) environments.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum and hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience applying structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience leading capital projects, operational transformation initiatives, technology transfers, or new product introductions.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Advanced proficiency using project and portfolio management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Planview, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and drive decision-making across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience developing or improving Project Management Office (PMO) governance, standards, and business processes.
