Position Title: HR Project Manager
Location: Pensacola FL / Fairfax VA
Position Status: Contract (W2)
Pay Rate: $50/hr - $55/hr on w2
Position Description
We are seeking a dynamic HR Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic projects within the Human Resources function. This role requires expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and the ability to drive initiatives that enhance HR operations, technology, and employee experience.
Ideal candidates will bring proven project leadership skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals. Experience in HR processes such as preboarding activities (between offer acceptance and Day 1) is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage HR projects from initiation through successful delivery, including technology, business process, and operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Communicate project updates, milestones, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
