Nuclear Project Manager, Construction Material Testing

Job Description

At Atlas, we're providing services that enable communities to flourish and thrive, and if you're a Nuclear CMT Project Manager ready to lead people and projects that keep infrastructure safe and built to standard and committed to doing meaningful work, then this is your moment. You'll guide and develop field teams while steering projects from staffing through delivery, serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, safeguard quality by ensuring testing meets project specifications, keep projects financially healthy from proposal to billing, and set the tone for a strong safety culture across every jobsite. The successful hire will transition their work to a nuclear project in Kemmerer, WY in early 2027 for 2-3 years assignment (per diem available during this period).

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and support field staff, providing daily direction, scheduling guidance, and performance oversight
  • Manage project execution including scope, staffing, client coordination, and issue resolution
  • Review and approve testing reports to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
  • Oversee proposals, billing, and project financial tracking
  • Partner with clients to understand needs, provide updates, and deliver reliable solutions
  • Champion safety by ensuring adherence to PPE requirements and active participation in Atlas safety programs

  • 10 years construction management with DOE or Commercial Nuclear Industry
  • Direct experience implementing NQA-1 requirements
  • 5 years directly supervising personnel
