KPS Global is looking for a Project Manager, to join the Construction Services Department.
The Project Manager directs, plans, and coordinates turnkey/refrigeration construction business activities and projects, including leading and managing internal and external resources. This role also requires full scope project management for new, remodeled, and special projects and plays a large part in KPS Global's ability to achieve organizational strategies, goals, and business objectives while ensuring all compliance requirements are fully satisfied.
Required Skills
  • Coordinating installation work schedules with customers, installers, inside sales quoter, and general contractor
  • Overseeing field work through KPS site construction manager and/or approved 3rd party contractor
  • Estimating and bidding for US and Canadian turnkey projects
  • Contacting installing contractors to secure installation services, negotiate terms, and issue purchase orders
  • Traveling to field sites to meet with installers, contractors, and customers to coordinate the review, installation, perform scopes, promote products/services, resolve problems, and attend construction site meetings
  • Reconciling purchase orders and approving contractor/vendor invoices while acquiring required closeout documentation
  • Carrying out HR activities including staffing, coaching, counseling, and performance management
  • Coordinating punch-list resolution with contractors, customers, and general contractors
  • Coordinating service and miscellaneous order support from KPS Global's internal resources
  • Troubleshooting installation and product issues
  • Representing the company with customer field and purchasing personnel while assisting customers in the testing of KPS products and services

Required Experience
  • High School Diploma; technical or engineering degree preferred
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in construction, refrigeration and walk-in coolers
  • Must be able to climb, kneel, reach with hands and use hands and arms
  • Must be able to life 25 lbs
