SUMMARY OF THE JOB:

Project managers bear the overall responsibility for their assigned customer projects. They oversee and coordinate all activities from initial inquiry, through development activities to machine selection, industrialization and to full scale commercial serial production and phase out of the product. Together with Sales / KAM, they serve as primary point of contact with our customers and collaborate with the customer to understand the technical and commercial requirements of the projects. They establish and maintain a close relationship with the customerโ€™s project team and manage expectations.

Project managers ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives, timelines and deliverables with all stakeholders. They lead cross-functional teams and facilitate collaboration among all internal departments to ensure successful project execution and delivery. They monitor project status and progress, identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, implement corrective actions to address challenges and maintain timelines and deliverables.

Project Managers are responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that their projects involve. They schedule, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities and ensure that projects are meeting the highest standards from concept to completion. They are passionate about technology, processes, project management and eager to learn.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

ยท Establish and maintain close relationship with customer, collaborate with customer to understand expectations, needs and requirements

ยท Define project scope, objectives and deliverables based on customer, regulatory and other stakeholder requirements

ยท Plan, coordinate and monitor work packages and activities in the assigned projects and with the cross-functional team

ยท Assess requirements for resources and coordinate build-up of capacities for project industrialization and serial production with Operations

ยท Review and report project status, progress and risks to relevant stakeholders

ยท Define corrective actions and mitigations for projects at risk and escalate projects as required

OTHER JOB DUTIES:

ยท Develop best practices, routines and innovative concepts to improve the performance and quality of projects

ยท Communicate proactively and effectively to all stakeholders

ยท Foster collaboration and teamwork across departments, locations and team members

ยท Other duties as needed or required

QUALIFICATIONS:

ยท Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Technical Discipline preferred (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, etc.)

ยท Equivalent mix of education/experience considered (Mechanical Design/Engineering, Material Science, Manufacturing, etc.)

ยท Project management methodologies โ€“ Experience with Phase Gate Release process, Iterative, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies

ยท Must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities

ยท Should be proficient in measurement system analysis, equipment selection, qualification and validation procedures, quality management models, cost estimation and evaluation methods

ยท Must be proficient in English

ยท Analytical problem-solving mind set
