Role Summary
The Windows Administrator is responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft Windows server environments. This role ensures the availability, performance, security, and reliability of Windows-based infrastructure while supporting operational requirements, patching, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning for Windows infrastructure.
  • Manage Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, and access controls.
  • Support patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation for Windows systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and performance issues.
  • Implement and maintain backup and recovery processes to support business continuity.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support enterprise initiatives.
  • Maintain system documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Support audit and compliance activities by providing technical evidence and documentation.
  • Participate in after-hours or on-call support as required for critical incidents or maintenance activities.
