Description:
The Assistant Project Manager supports the successful execution of client delivery projects by coordinating daily project activities, maintaining documentation, and ensuring alignment across teams. This role applies NASI PMO standards and methodologies to help deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about improving processes, supporting technical teams, and strengthening project performance.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote company Core Values to foster and safeguard Company culture.
  • Provides support to project managers for change orders, project logs, daily reports, RFI's, scope verification, etc.
  • Assists with cost control and financial management tracking
  • Coordinates scope of work - daily work projections
  • Preparing submittals
  • Review and compile pay applications, change requests, and project financial documentation
  • Partners with Project manager to craft responses to client requests - correspondence as required
  • Assists in contract administration
  • Assists in employee time and recordkeeping
  • Assists in coordinating work with other project team members - construction managers, quality specialists, safety, etc.
  • Participates in meetings to coordinate work
  • Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
  • Secure material orders, assist superintendents with material orders
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks and projects.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Degree: Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, other STEM based degree programs. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 1-3 years' experience in construction
  • Good computer skills
  • Proficient in Windows, SharePoint, Excel, power point and Word - basic knowledge and use
