Job description

Construction Project Manager

Location: USA — Must currently be located within the United States Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 annually (commensurate with experience) Travel: Approximately 25% Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the USA

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from initial scoping through closeout. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely on time, and within budget. These responsibilities can change at the client’s request.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of assigned construction projects, including pre-construction planning, execution, and closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues, delays, or cost overruns
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and company safety standards
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to leadership and clients
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
  • Conduct site visits and inspections, including travel to project locations (~25%)
  • Support procurement and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and ongoing coordination meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–7+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and teams
  • Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically (~25%)
  • Must currently reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, CCM, or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, or critical infrastructure construction projects
  • Familiarity with estimating and bid preparation

Compensation & Benefits
