The Senior Construction Project Manager plays a leading role on Sevans program management team, driving nationwide grocery store remodel and construction programs. The Senior Project Manager will provide construction project management within the Grocery / Retail sectors and requires familiarity of facility projects with a focus on refrigeration, electrical, HVAC, or vertical mobility. This is a remote based role, with required travel to job sites as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Executive or Operations Director in developing project proposals, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to client standards.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, proactively communicating project updates and resolving issues.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and third-party providers.
  • Oversee estimating, bidding, permitting, and contract administration.
  • Manage project changes, documentation, and reporting in alignment with Sevans standards and best practices.
  • Implement Sevan technology solutions to enhance project delivery.
  • Conduct project kickoffs and lessons-learned reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent Sevan in client and project meetings, fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Anticipate challenges and develop solutions to minimize risk and ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field, or 1015 years of relevant experience.
  • 7-10+ years experience in construction management within the retail or grocery sectors
  • Expertise within refrigeration, electrical, and HVAC is highly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in construction project management, with strong knowledge of all phases from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Exceptional communication skills with clients, contractors, and project teams at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Procore and Smartsheets.
  • PMP certification preferred.

Work Conditions & Travel:

This is a remote-based role with recurring travel to project locations. A highly collaborative environment that flourishes when individual and team contributions combine to achieve target goals and objectives. Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations to meet aggressive schedules. Able to work remotely in a home-office setting and manage time effectively with multiple projects and deadlines. Travel required (X-X%) on an as needed basis up to and including weekly site visits. Regularly required to sit; occasionally required to stand; walk; occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

Pay & Benefits: The anticipated compensation range for the position is $115,000 - $125,000 is based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience.
