About the Role

Join Daisy North Jersey as a Project Manager in our Ho Ho Kus, NJ office, where you'll be the connective tissue between sales, the field, and the back office. Every job runs through you โ€” from verifying it's correctly logged in our CRM system to ordering equipment and coordinating the schedule so our techs show up on the right job at the right time with the right gear. This is an execution-first position. You don't need to sell, and you don't need to wire racks โ€” but you need to understand the flow of an AV project well enough to catch what's missing before it becomes a problem in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and timelines.
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders regularly.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress and performance metrics.
  • Identify equipment needs per job; source and place purchase orders for the best price. track item delivery timelines against install dates.
  • Manage tech availability and job scheduling โ€” matching labor to workload, confirming appointments, and flagging conflicts early.
  • Maintain clean job files: ensure techs are creating change orders, site notes, and closeout documentation.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact between ownership, the field team, and admin on all open jobs.
  • Proactively surface problems โ€” delayed gear, scheduling gaps, scope creep โ€” before they affect the client.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in AV, low-voltage, custom integration, construction, or a related trade.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Organized and self-directed: you build the checklist, you own the checklist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong procurement instincts โ€” you know how to check stock, compare lead times, and compare costs to gain best margin. You are able to independently solve for procurement issues and negotiate a PO when needed.
  • Familiarity with AV brands and product categories (displays, control systems, networking, audio) is a plus, not a requirement.
