Job description

SourcePro Search is conducting a search for an experienced Project Manager for our client in the securities trading system environment in Princeton, NJ.
This is a hybrid role (2 days in office / 3 days work from home)
The idea candidate will have a thorough understanding of the SDLC, Change Management, and minimum of five years, experience working within a Project Management Office. This position will report directly to the Director of the Project Management Office. Also require extensive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project and Jira.
The PM is responsible for working with technical managers and their teams to ensure the successful implementation of the project life cycle on all projects throughout the organization. Experience in leading technology infrastructure, systems functionality, corporate acquisition and integration projects is essential. The successful candidate must be able to manage numerous and diverse projects simultaneously, requiring strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and successful interaction with personnel in all departments of the organization including administrative, technology, legal, finance and regulatory.
What You'll Do:
  • Interfacing with senior management to develop and track yearly operational plans and budgets.
  • Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and delivering on multiple projects from initiation to completion.
  • Monitoring and managing risk for daily technology change management.
  • Conduct weekly sprint meetings and compliance meetings with numerous departments.
  • Attendance at business requirements and various design and development review meetings to ensure understanding of project scope and deliverables.
  • Providing project guidance to all employees assigned to projects according to best practices and documented project management standards.
  • Reporting project status and issues to company management.
  • Recommending process, staffing and other changes to improve the quality and timeliness of deliverables.

What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology project management.
  • Demonstrated project management skills in a technology oriented environment.
  • Facilitation skills and public speaking experience.
  • General understanding of technology.
  • Ability to identify timeline and dependency issues in project schedules early enough in the project life-cycle to ensure successful remediation.
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, organized, driven, and a responsible team player.
  • Strong understanding of Jira, Excel and MS Project.
