LYNX Technology Partners is seeking a skilled and experiencedInformation Technology (IT) Project Manager to join our EnterpriseProject Management Office (EPMO). This role is ideal for a strategicthinker with a strong background in IT project leadership and apassion for delivering impactful solutions aligned withorganizational goals.
The IT PM works within general methods and procedures, andexercises considerable independent judgment to select propercourses of action. The work requires knowledge of the policies,methods, and procedures of the fields of information technologyand project management. Activities include identifying,prioritizing, authorizing, managing, and controlling projects andprograms to achieve specific strategic business objectives. Theemployee serves as a subject matter expert regarding use of theLYNX's Project Management Methodology (PMM). Positions in this jobdo not supervise but coordinate or oversee the activities ofother employees.
As an IT PM, y will provide strategic planning for programmanagement; align skills and resources; monitor, manage, and controlagency projects within designated Project Management Offices;and provide for all requisite management to fulfillthe program/project requirements including requisitions, andreleases. The position manages the Information Technologyprojects, developing processes, project classification guidance,and requirements documents. Activities include monitoring andcontrolling systems/business analysis, development andimplementation of applications in a networked PC environment, PC/LANsupport, technical writing system processes, managing scope,testing, implementation, schedules and changes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage IT projects of varying size and complexityfrom initiation through completion.
  • Ensure projects align with strategic objectives and complywith LYNX's Project Management Methodology (PMM).
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee projectactivities without direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor and control project scope, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders and ensuretransparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide strategic planning and guidance for program andproject management within designated PMOs.
  • Oversee systems analysis, application development,implementation, and technical documentation.

Requirements
  • Proven experience managing IT projects in a structuredproject management environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles,tools, and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with networked PC environments, LAN support, andtechnical writing is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
