Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager's role is to communicate with customers to ensure on-time delivery of qualified product while reducing operating costs, which will increase company profits. This role will require a constant attention to scope, schedule and budgets. Communication with internal and external customers is key to the project managers success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Manage multiple surfaces projects simultaneously from Turnover to final payment

· Budgeting - Maintain an accurate project budget throughout the duration of the project

· Purchasing materials within budget and on time for production needs

· Invoicing customers per schedule of values to maintain positive cash flow

· Coordination of Scope

· Scheduling - coordinate customers schedules in conjunction with ASST's production schedule

· Customer Communication - maintain timely customer communications

· Manage Submittal Documents for Approval

· Site Logistics Coordination

· Secure subcontractors and write subcontracts

· Manage Change Orders

· Schedule and Attend project meetings

· Collaborate with Estimating, Drafters, Planners, Production and Customers

· Manage project documents

· Coordinate Deliveries and Install Schedules

· Manage Receivables

· Communicate with Installers during the projects Installation phase

· Spot Check Quality of product being produced

· Execute projects per SOP

· Manage project issues as the arise and prepare/submit contract related documents

· Use ASST database software, Outlook, Excel, etc. to facilitate organization of projects

· Prepare and submit project close out documents such as As Built Drawings, O&M Manuals, Warranty

Experience:

- Proven experience in project management roles in a busy millwork shop environment

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Experience with material procurement, scheduling, invoicing, and collections.

- Excellent computer skills

- Experience with Filemaker Pro software a plus.

- Business or Construction related degree a plus.
