OVERVIEW

Lead and manage successful delivery of transformational IT and business projects. This will include project planning, execution and successful delivery of the planned outcomes on time, on budget and within scope in accordance with business priorities. May be assigned to multiple projects simultaneously. This candidate should be able to work in the environment with multiple vendors. The candidate needs to have expertise in project management and change management. He/she needs to be able to manage and influences business and IT stakeholders to select the best approach to ensure objectives of projects are accomplished. This role is accountable for engaging and working with key IT and business partners and driving to successful outcomes within a given timeline. This roles reports to IT PMO organization.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures that projects follow the established IT PMO Governance and System Development Life Cycle standards to meet the project and audit standards

  • Build and track the Project Plan in collaboration with the project team

  • Drives the execution of project plans and teamwork assignments, directs and monitors work efforts on a daily basis, identifies resource needs, performs quality review; and escalates functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately and ensures issue resolution.

  • Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the project. Prepares status reports to the key stakeholders on the regular basis. Adheres to standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.

  • Drives the communication for key stakeholders regarding the scope, budget, risk and resources of the projects.

  • Drives the business process change activities to ensure successful projects implementation

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adheres to high quality standards and meets customer expectations.

  • Coordinates request for changes from original specifications and ensures proper change communication and impact analysis are assessed and in support of the project’s overall goals

  • Drives project scheduling, resource allocation and forecasting, time entry, and project controls through the standard project management tools to ensure proper budget allocation and capitalization

  • Track financials (actuals and forecast) of the projects

  • Leads project Steering Committee meetings with senior leadership; uses good judgment to escalate issues to leadership

  • Manages Risk, Issues, Escalation, Action and Dependency logs

  • Ensure benefits realization is maximized through successful deployment

  • Knowledge with SAP platform is a plus

  • Works independently with minimal supervision

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS from College/University

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Management in IT

  • Prefer PMP certification
