Your Potential Role: Denark has an opening for an experienced Project Superintendent, who will provide overall field management and administration to field employees, subcontractors and suppliers.


· Oversees total project field effort to ensure the highest quality, appropriate personnel, budget and schedule are met.

· Ensure all company, department, and technical policies, procedures, standards, etc. are adhered to.

· Interpret policies as required.

· Assists with implementation and interpretation of safety programs. Assists in the development of supervision training programs.

· Schedules, coordinates and supervises employees, subcontractors and all construction equipment on assigned project(s).

· Initiates work schedules for maximum productivity of work.

· Reviews drawings and specifications routinely.

· Ensures subcontractors and suppliers are complying to specifications and codes.

· Documents changes made by the architect/owner and gets approval from project manager on a timely basis.

· Schedules all inspections and coordinates testing as required.

· Acts as the main safety representative on assigned projects.

· Reports all accidents and initiates first-report paperwork.

· Attend company training/seminars as required by supervisor.

· Assists Senior Project Superintendent in development of the construction schedule.

· Solicits potential future employees through contacts in the industry.

· Reviews construction schedule, Pay Requests and job cost reports with Project Manager.

· Sets up job trailer including; temporary power, telephone, toilet, dumpster and water.

· Schedules materials and suppliers.

· Reports the need for a change in manpower requirements in complying with established schedules.

· Performs initial screening for prospective field employees when requested by the Senior Project Superintendent.

· Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Requirements:

Your Credentials & Skill Set:

· Minimum five years’ experience in the construction industry.

· Previous Foreman/Assistant Superintendent for at least two years on a continuous basis.

· Has successfully completed projects up to $2 million as the Project Superintendent.

· Excellent communication, supervisory and planning skills required.
