Job Description Our client is seeking a proactive Software Project Manager to guide software development initiatives from project planning through delivery. This role will partner closely with Software Engineering and Project Management teams to maintain project schedules, optimize resources, manage budgets, mitigate risks, and keep projects aligned with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Agile software development projects and thrives in a fast-paced environment where organization, communication, accountability, and a strong sense of urgency are essential.

This is a hybrid role. Candidates must live within 30 minutes of Duluth, Georgia. Key Responsibilities Partner with Project Management and Software Engineering teams to support multiple software development initiatives.

Manage and track multiple project tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Maintain project schedules, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Create, update, and organize project templates and documentation.

Regularly maintain project dashboards and provide visibility into project status. Schedule project-related client and stakeholder meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, track action items, and drive next steps. Proactively follow up with internal and external team members to ensure outstanding tasks are completed.

Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, timelines, and potential risks. Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership. Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and a consistent sense of urgency.

Required Experience Candidates should have 2+ years of professional experience with: Managing software development projects using Agile methodologies. Working directly with software development and engineering teams to align schedules and keep projects on track. Managing project budgets, balancing resources, and developing accurate project timelines.

Analyzing burn-up and burn-down charts. Using project management tools and methodologies, including Microsoft Project, Kanban boards, Gantt charts, and Jira. Using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree or international equivalent. 2+ years of relevant professional experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities to contribute without waiting for direction.
