Redmond WA - Day 1 Onsite
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced scrum master/project manager for our client, a logistics company. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination with the across-region team members and customers, the ability to lead and drive the whole team on high-quality delivery. You will be responsible to coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects.
Job Responsibilities:
? Plan and manage projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.
? Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
? Lead cross-functional project teams to successfully deliver projects using Agile project management methodologies.
? Determine and define project scope and objectives.
? Predict, plan and designate project resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
? Keep stakeholders informed on the project progress. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
? Assist the Product Owner in user story creation/prioritization and product Backlog grooming via emergent requirement elicitation while supporting overall organizational goals
? Track and report Scrum team velocity and manage Sprint capacity
? Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
? Coordinate dependencies between teams with other Scrum Masters
? Coach the development team and stakeholders on how to use Agile/Scrum practices
? Engages Project Management counterparts, customers, and project stakeholders to ensure continued alignment with project
Job Requirements:
• Over five years of IT Project Management and/or Scrum Master experience
• Over three years of working hands-on with System Development Life Cycle
• Familiar with Agile tools to support iterative tracking and development. Experience with SaFE.
• Experience leading medium to large custom and/or complex software development and/or implementation projects
• Experience with Project Management Tools and Practices (requirements management, risk management).
• Excellent organization and bilingual (English and Chinese) communication skills (written & verbal).
• Able to balance priorities under time/schedule constraints and take initiative to achieve desired results.
• Must have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Able to establish strong working relationships with individuals and teams across different geographies.
• Strong passion for continual process improvement
