At Dome Construction, our Project Managers do more than manage schedules and budgets. They lead projects from concept through completion, build strong client relationships, mentor developing team members, and drive successful outcomes that leave a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Thousand Oaks team and take ownership of exciting commercial construction projects throughout Southern California. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy leading teams, and want the opportunity to make meaningful contributions while growing your career, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you will serve as the driving force behind project success, leading every phase of construction from preconstruction through closeout. You'll collaborate closely with clients, architects, trade partners, superintendents, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning, execution, and overall performance of commercial construction projects

  • Overseeing schedules and ensuring project milestones are achieved
  • Identifying and proactively resolving project challenges and risks
  • Mentoring Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers while fostering a collaborative team culture
  • Partnering with field teams to ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence
  • Supporting preconstruction efforts including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project financials, scheduling, and contract administration
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to solve problems, make sound decisions, and navigate complex project challenges
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing others
Why Dome?

At Dome, we're committed to building more than great projects. We invest in our people and create opportunities for growth, leadership development, and long-term career success.

When you join Dome, you'll find:

  • Challenging and rewarding commercial construction projects
  • A collaborative, team-oriented culture
  • Opportunities to lead and make a measurable impact
  • Career development and advancement opportunities
  • Comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation

If you're ready to take ownership of meaningful projects and help shape the future of commercial construction, we encourage you to apply.
