They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee all of their industrial builds / renovations They have a strong foothold on the market and have fostered long lasting relationships with extremely reputable clients.

The selected candidate will have experience managing and organizing multiple construction projects at once.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage construction projects from initiation through closeout, including scope verification, permitting, engineering coordination, fabrication, installation, and final project delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout all phases of construction projects, building strong relationships to support repeat and future business.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations, specifications, and client requirements are met or exceeded across each project.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and work-in-progress (WIP) tracking to support accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and manage project estimates, cost analyses, and budget tracking to ensure profitability and cost control.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, installers, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
  • Support field operations by providing clear direction, technical information, and problem-solving assistance to installation crews.
  • Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) to track project progress, streamline workflows, and support internal communication.
  • Identify risks and proactively resolve project issues, escalating to senior management when necessary.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify new business opportunities and support project bidding and procurement efforts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, supply chain development, and cost reduction strategies.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior project staff (e.g., Project Coordinators or Administrators) as required.
  • Maintain availability to support project needs, including occasional after-hours coordination with field teams or stakeholders.
  • Ensure all projects are executed in accordance with company standards, quality expectations, and branding requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 3โ€“5 years of project management experience, preferably within the construction industry (signage or related sectors considered an asset).
  • Strong understanding of construction project lifecycle, including permitting, scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet) and accounting systems (e.g., AccountEdge/MYOB).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents is an asset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
  • Must possess and maintain appropriate PPE, including CSA-approved safety footwear (green tag) and high-visibility clothing.
