What We're Looking For:

Manages the activities of a unit with responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing. Receives assignment in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
Develops procedures and processes to achieve goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working with the supervisors, the managers need to provide the tools and resources to ensure the team is meeting cost standards. The manager needs to be reviewing the expense statements to ensure they are aligned with the budget for each of their cost centers.
  • Work with peers to establish and set the expectations of how the multiple facilities promote a collaborative work environment and foster the process improvement process in the environment.
  • Work with the Health & Safety team to promote a safe working environment.
  • Engages with the shift supervisors to ensure all KPI's are aligned within their facility and is meeting the requirements agreed to in annual evaluation of objectives.
  • Work with leadership to provide the atmosphere for people to exceed in their positions and provide a path for growth for staff.
  • Provides the framework across multiple groups to ensure there is a consistent measure of performance by supervisors in different areas and/or shifts.
  • Sets quality standards by working with the sales and quality teams to decipher the customer's expectations.
  • Contributes to the development of unit objectives and assists in formulating and administering policies and programs.
  • Recommends items and amounts for inclusion in the budget. Controls expenses.
  • Represents the unit on project teams and may perform in project leadership role on projects of significant scope and impact.
  • Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
  • Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
  • Works on complex issues and develops resolutions where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and/or frequent use of creativity.
  • Required to interpret and frame complex or specialized information for presentation to varied audiences. Requires ability to gain cooperation of others. Interacts with key internal and external stakeholders in order to resolve complex problems. Creates formal networks involving coordination
  • among groups

Job Requirements

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Work Experience: 6+ years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years of experience supervising others

Pay Range:

$96,800.00 - $145,200.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
