About the Role: Treasury Management Operations Officer

The Treasury Management Operations Officer oversees the Operations of the Treasury Management department. This position leads and is responsible for TM operational, product & customer service. These strategies ensure the department provides everything needed for successful cooperate client onboarding as well guaranteeing existing cooperate customers receive superior customer service and support. These strategies and implementation should align with the bank's overall strategic and financial plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute TM operational strategy including account setup, product implementation, client training, service level agreements, ongoing monitoring and business risk management.
  • Develop and execute TM sales support strategy which includes working with relationship officers and other treasury management staff to engage in business development activities such as:
    • Work with Business Bankers and Treasury Relationship Managers as well as Retail Branches to solicit clients for commercial treasury management and deposit services.
    • Provide awareness to customers and prospects of other products and services that will solve problems including referrals to other business and consumer lines.
    • Assess current customer needs to promote product cross sales growth and maintain existing relationships
  • First point of contact for major TM clients
  • Manage and develop the TM Operations Team
  • Oversee TM Operations Staff annual review process and department reporting.
  • Actively research and review Treasury Management products and pricing strategy. Create measurements and evaluation process for existing suite of products while helping prepare recommendations of new TM products or price changes based on feedback and partnership with Treasury Relationship Managers and Business Bankers.
  • Treasury Management subject matter expert for the bank. Works closely with all departments to ensure proper communication and processes are in place.
  • Point of contact for all Treasury Management partners/vendors while monitoring and seeking out new vendors as needed.
  • Provide internal and external training and education to establish and reinforce Treasury Management Operations best practices and knowledge.
  • Seek out projects that will enhance the efficiency of the department and ensure they are successfully completed.
  • Provide a superior level of customer support to Business Bankers, Business Services Reps, Treasury Relationship Officers/Managers, Branch Staff, and Customers while promoting a culture of delivering outstanding customer experience.
  • Proactively assist and/or directly resolve TM customer escalations and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • 5+ years of Treasury Management experience or alike
  • Excellent communication - verbal and writing skills required

  • Ability to be flexible and thrive in a team environment required
  • An understanding of basic accounting and technology related to a company's financial operations preferred
