They facilitate communication by organizing regular meetings, sharing project updates, and clarifying goals and responsibilities. Effective collaboration involves aligning team members from diverse backgrounds, managing expectations, and resolving conflicts to keep the project on track. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Overview:
New Program kicking off. The project itself is confidential.
This will be a large program with 10-15 workstreams with 8-10 project managers. Will make sure we have an integrated program timeline. Will make sure the PMs understand roles/responsibilities. Maintain and track highest issues and manage the financials. There are tech and business PMs, this person is making sure the financials are organized and there are monthly updates with senior leaders and navigating the mechanics behind the scenes to pull financials together.
Responsible for governance - making sure we have the right meeting structure, managing corporate wide forums, bringing content to various forums for decision making.
Sitting in AFIG organization - franchise advisors, employee advisors, the newer branch of Ameriprise is partnership banks (small credit unions) we establish partnerships in those banks so people can have an Ameriprise financial advisor experience in that bank.
Team is accountable for business partnership and leadership. Doesn't want a technical program manager. This person will need to navigate between managing financials with a Project Coordinator/Project manager in one moment and then doing a senior level update and transition to those and tracking key items at a high level and in the team.
Need to be able to prioritize, help with the scope. Ensure we have the right visibility across the program.
Looking for someone with financial wealth management experience.
M&A is helpful as we are talking about integrating with different orgs outside of Ameriprise.
