Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closure.
- Develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Prepare and review project estimates using construction estimating software.
- Utilize tools such as Prolog, ProCore, and Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on the construction site.
- Review contracts and negotiate terms with vendors and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including schematics and change orders.
- Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
