Job Schedule:   9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off

Job Description:  
The Configuration Management intern is an engineering support role that performs Configuration Management functions to establish and oversee consistency of product data while supporting all aspects of a program as directed by the assigned Configuration Management lead. This role provides on-demand support to various engineering and program management teams as support for as-builts, SDRL deliveries and other tasking as required.

Essential Functions: 

  • Interface with multiple disciplines and levels of program regularly to ensure adequate Data Management support while receiving initial direction and guidance from the program Configuration Management Lead.
  • Interface with existing configuration management toolsets, to include Siemens Teamcenter and customer portals for data deliverables.
  • Assist senior program Configuration Manager in performing internal audits to verify compliance with contract requirements.
  • Work with senior program Configuration Manager and provide suggestions for improvement or enhancements to processes to improve performance of job area
  • May provide other functional support as assigned by program Configuration Manager or functional leadership.
  • Ability to work overtime, on-call and/or outside of normal business hours as needed to meet critical deadlines and business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, candidate's must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using version control tools such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
  • Knowledge of SDRL process and requirements for delivery to customers.
  • Understanding of project management and DoD contracts to include MIL STDs and Industry STDs. Â
