Ardent is seeking a Project Manager to join our team.
This is an on-site position in Rockville, MD.
Position Description:
Ardent is seeking a Project Manager to lead overall contract execution, serving as the primary liaison between stakeholders and ensuring all operational, performance, and compliance requirements are met. You will oversee service delivery, manage personnel and deliverables, and drive continuous improvement across the program.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the contractor, leadership, and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Oversee daily operations, contract performance, and execution of all requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the Contract Management Plan (CMP) within 30 days of contract award.
  • Lead the post-award kickoff meeting and provide agenda materials to the COR in advance.
  • Manage transition-in and transition-out activities, including coordination of knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure full staffing coverage, including Key Personnel, to maintain uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain an annual training plan for all personnel to support performance and compliance.
  • Enforce professional conduct, confidentiality, and adherence to HRSA data handling requirements.
  • Identify trends, risks, and performance gaps; implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure all contract deliverables are submitted on time and maintained in a version-controlled repository.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of IT program or project management experience in a federal civilian or DoD environment.
  • At least 3 years managing end-user IT support contracts of similar size and complexity.
  • Strong experience managing contract deliverables, personnel, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a structured environment.
  • Active Public Trust Tier clearance or ability to obtain.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • ITIL Foundation or higher certification.
  • Experience with federal contract compliance, reporting, and performance management frameworks.
