About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee industrial construction projects serving the food and beverage manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through final closeout while ensuring successful execution of schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.

The Project Manager will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams to coordinate every phase of project delivery. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of challenging industrial projects while building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of a highly respected contractor.

Travel to project sites will be required based on project location and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage industrial construction projects from planning through completion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and design professionals to ensure project objectives are achieved
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Lead subcontractor coordination, procurement activities, and construction planning
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve schedule, budget, and operational challenges
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, contract requirements, and company safety expectations
  • Prepare project reports, change orders, financial updates, and client communications
  • Travel to project sites as necessary to support successful execution and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements

  • Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Background in industrial construction is strongly preferred; experience with food and beverage manufacturing facilities is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project financial management
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design and construction teams
