Due to Westway Construction's continued growth and expansion, we are looking to add a Senior Project Manager/Project Executive to our DFW team. In this role, you will have full profit and loss responsibility for the greater DFW area while overseeing projects in existing hospitals ranging from $1 million to $20 million in size. You will lead hiring and team development efforts, partner closely with Business Development, and serve as a key relationship manager for clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Operations Manager/Director or a high-performing Senior Project Manager or Project Executive ready to take the next step in their career.

Essential Job Functions

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
  • Promote and ensure compliance with company safety policies and programs
  • Review, monitor, and coordinate all approvals of shop drawings and submittals
  • Create schedules of values and obtain billing approvals from owners and architects
  • Partner with Superintendents to ensure compliance with contract requirements and project objectives
  • Oversee and maintain project Quality Control Programs
  • Prepare project budgets and manage cost control efforts throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and negotiate change orders while maintaining project profitability
  • Formulate, monitor, and maintain all required project reports and logs
  • Schedule and lead project meetings, owner meetings, and project closeout walkthroughs
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop project management staff
  • Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Identify training and professional development opportunities for team members
  • Support business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships
  • Manage multiple projects while ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Executive on projects in existing hospitals
  • Strong understanding of healthcare construction practices and operational requirements
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and profitability
  • Demonstrated leadership experience supervising and developing project teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
