The Role at a Glance
  • Lead planning, execution, and closeout for multiple low‑voltage projects
  • Core domains: structured cabling (Cat 5 & 6), CCTV, card access, fiber optics, and fire alarm systems
  • Own schedule, cost, quality, and safety—managing both internal crews and subcontractors
  • Maintain compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Model decisive leadership, clear communication, and customer focus
Primary ResponsibilitiesLeadership
  • Inspire technicians and lead by example
  • Provide direction, remove obstacles, and set measurable team and personal goals
  • Oversee multiple jobs simultaneously while controlling subcontractor costs and timelines
Technical
  • Terminate and test Cat 5 & 6
  • Configure CCTV and access control (door strikes, card readers, power supplies, cameras)
  • Install, terminate, splice, and test fiber optics
