Job description

About the role:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will support the Bulgaria AP1000 Program team in multiple aspects of execution during the AP1000 Bulgaria project lifecycle. You will work with Program Management to ensure that the Bulgaria AP1000 Program is performed on time and within budget while meeting all safety, quality and budget requirements and exceeding customer expectations.

You will report to the Senior Manager - AP 1000 Bulgaria Project. This is a hybrid role, based in Cranberry, PA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project leadership in the project planning process including drafting, revising, and improving project assets (e.g., project execution plan, lessons learned)
  • Provide support to ensure project performance metrics are adequately met. Use tools such as PowerBI to monitor project metrics and work with functional leads, project controls to enact improvements.
  • Track and disposition project information to support overall project success. This will include performing project status planning and tracking by working with functional leads/PMs to gather task status track requirements completion, and review/provide weekly schedule updates.
  • Develop relationships with the project team, the supporting functional organizations, and other partners to complete project assignments.
  • Communicate complex project information including status and risks.
  • Lead multiple project scope of work efforts including client deliverable documentation.
  • Support project leadership by coordinating/scheduling internal/external project meetings. These meetings could include multiple-day workshops with the customer (both on-shore and off-shore).
  • Develop material for project status reporting (e.g., input for monthly progress reports).
  • Lead identification, organization and implementation of corrective actions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline, such as Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field. Master's degree.
  • 4+ years of engineering and project management related experience in the nuclear field. We will consider experience in other applicable technical roles (e.g., construction industry, oil and gas, utilities/energy).
  • The EPMO will administer the Westinghouse project management certification process, and we require project management certifications (e.g., PMP).

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
