Job description

Job Title: Project Manager, Global Medical Affairs Location: Raritan, NJ Type: Contract Compensation: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 depending on experience Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities • Support a portfolio of innovative oncology initiatives spanning AI-enabled research, digital health, technology, advanced analytics, and pragmatic study design within the Global Medical Affairs Study Innovation team. • Partner with senior leaders to drive execution across complex, cross-functional programs, ensuring structure, visibility, and operational discipline. • Manage end-to-end project execution with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables. • Lead meeting operations, including agendas, minutes, decision logs, and follow-through to closure. • Maintain integrated project plans, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and cross-functional alignment. • Navigate governance and approval processes (e.g., contracting, compliance, SOPs), ensuring timely and complete execution. • Develop executive-ready communications, including slide decks and updates for senior leadership. • Track budgets and resources, identifying variances, and ensuring alignment with financial and procurement protocols. • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of deliverables and expectations. • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans, escalating issues early with options and recommendations.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MPH, MS, MBA) preferred. • 5–8 years of relevant project/program management experience, preferably in pharma, biotech, or healthcare. • Experience working in medical, clinical, research, or data/analytics-driven environments preferred. • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization. • Excellent written and presentation skills for executive communication. • Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex inputs into actionable insights. • Effectively operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and drive structure. • Ability to anticipate risks, problem-solve proactively, and make decisions. • Experience navigating governance processes, budget management, and vendor relations. • Strong collaboration, influencing skills, high ownership, resilience, and attention to detail.
