Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager / BIM Manager to join its architectural team in Phoenix, Arizona. This leadership role is ideal for an accomplished architectural professional with extensive experience managing commercial projects while overseeing Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards, project coordination, and construction documentation.

The Project Manager / BIM Manager will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating consultants and clients, maintaining BIM standards across all project models, and ensuring architectural designs are accurately translated into high-quality presentation and construction documents. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management, leadership, and advanced BIM knowledge.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial office and multi-story building projects, exceptional Revit proficiency, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects while maintaining design quality, project schedules, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Manage architectural projects from design development through construction documentation and project completion.

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams including architects, designers, engineers, consultants, and contractors.

  • Continuously improve BIM processes and implement new technologies that enhance project delivery.

Architectural Documentation

  • Translate conceptual architectural designs into accurate presentation drawings and construction documents.

  • Prepare and review architectural plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and technical details.

  • Coordinate construction documentation with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing consultants.

  • Review drawing packages for quality, constructability, completeness, and code compliance.

  • Assist during construction administration by responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and resolving design issues.
